About the Program


PURPOSE OF THE DEPARTMENT

The discipline of Interior Architecture aims to design individual and/or collective spaces by considering the anatomic, ergonomic-psychological, economic, sociological and cultural structure.

It aims to educate designers and interior architects who are capable of creating original designs with high aesthetic value.

 

DURATION AND CONTENT OF EDUCATION

The program of Interior Architecture is an undergraduate program of four years. Graduates are awarded with the undergraduate degree of “Interior Architecture” and title of “Interior Architect”.

The program contains courses such as Technical Drawing, Basic Artistic Education, Architecture Knowledge, History of Design and Architecture, Furniture Design, Design Theories and Methods, Computer-supported Design and Project. Students are assigned field related projects, seminars, educational trips, interviews and applications as well.

 

CAREER REQUIREMENTS

Those who prefer the program and intend to work as architects should:
